I learned how to needle felt last fall for the purpose of someday making heads for art dolls. I hadn’t touched it since. Somebody over at the Artella Cafe website mentioned needlefelting and so today I thought I’d try making a heart. I really enjoyed it. The face came alive under my needle. I was laughing when I made the mouth.
Made from dyed wool roving. It just fits in the palm of my hand. I’ll use it as an amulet.
