Happy Thanksgiving to all!
I originally drew this for my Canadian boyfriend for his Thanksgiving in October. I reworked it a bit to put here. Painted in Photoshop with a Wacom Graphire4 and then digitally manipulated to give it that pseudo batik effect.

Painted in Photoshop using a Wacom Graphire4. Tis the Season. Ho ho ho.

Digitally created design using Photoshop and a graphic tablet. I drew a “heart flower” then copied it and manipulated the colors with gradients. I didn’t start out going for a japanese design, but that’s where I ended up. This would make great background paper for digital scrapbooking.

This started out as a painting in Photoshop for an experiment I started in my Intuitive Arts group at CoachCreativeSpace, part one of which is to make some sort of art piece representing an angel in whatever way the artist chooses. Today’s heArt is a total remix of that angel – another piece of digital altered art.
Created entirely in Photoshop, starting with my own painting which was cut up, filtered and had layer styles applied to it. The heart stamp in the background is the same design that’s becoming a rubber stamp.

As I’ve said before, I never know where things are going when I start to do a piece of art. The only idea I had for this was “guitar”. At the end I could see a vague sort of Picasso influence. I don’t study other artists, but I know what I like, and Picasso strikes a chord for me. lol This is also influenced by the artists I’ve been curating on my StumbleUpon blog, as well as “Val’s Art Diary” on YouTube.
Digitally painted in Photoshop as a larger image originally, then cropped and altered with the “posterize” filter.

I found this website the other day called ImageChef where you can cook up some mindless, fun, images. I haven’t had time to do any of my own art today, so I’m posting my creation from ImageChef instead. All I had to do was find an image I liked and type in the words.
