I decided to make some free heart art for all of you making Valentine’s Day cards or putting together Valentine’s scrapbooks. In case you don’t already know, using shipping tags for collage, rubber stamping, etc. has been popular for years. I’m pleased with how my first digital attempts with them have turned out. These were completely constructed from scratch using Photoshop and the Grunge Heart #1 Photoshop brushes from BSilvia at Graphics-Illustrations and Texture brushes from Obsidian Dawn. I altered some of the brushes to create different effects.

Once again I wish I knew how to offer downloads in such a way that you could get a PNG file so you wouldn’t have to remove the white background. I’m working on figuring that out. In the meantime, click on the images below and you’ll be taken to Flickr where you will see a link to “all sizes” above the image. That will take you to different sizes. Or just right-click and “save image as” from here.

Note: These are for your own personal use. You can alter them in any way, print them out, use them for swaps, but it you publish it anywhere online please give me a mention and a link back.
