Today’s heart art is greatly helped by some pre-drawn celtic designs I found on the drawing celtic knotwork tutorial at Clanbadge’s website. From there I bought some patterns that I can copy and paste into Photoshop, as well as a knotwork font with which I’m supposed to be able to create my own knotwork designs. It was too interesting to pass up.
I love all things Celtic. I’m only part Scots and Irish, but if you do your research you’ll find that the Celts migrated into Europe from the east thousands of years ago and were the ancestors of most Europeans. So my German blood counts, too, in that case.
I always feel the Celtic vibe this time of year, starting around the first of February which is an ancient holiday dedicated to one of the Celtic goddesses, Brigid. It builds right up to Saint Patrick’s day, like an energy river flowing through me just under my conscious radar. I think I’ll let my celtic heart express itself this year here on the blog.

Hello
This is my first visit to your blog and I love your celtic heart design.
Your blog entry came up on mine as I just wrote a post on using Clanbadge software. I haven’t yet tried using it with Photoshop but you have inspired me to try.
Best wishes
Billie
