heArt #133 Baby Liam

This digital painting is a portrait of my friend Anita’s new (and first) grandbaby. Melanie and Jun are the proud parents of baby Liam. heArt #5 “Blue Madonna”

This piece is an original ACEO, 3.5 x 2.5 inches, done in colored pencils and pastels on Bristol board. The color is fairly true, but slightly different in real life. The word heArt is not on the actual piece itself. I drew this intuitively and as the imagery developed I felt that it was meant to be Mary, or the Madonna.

The word “heArt” not part of the actual artwork.
